The Sole arrived in the middle of 2011 in the shape of a Discraft Magnet, and made out of one of the most durable disc materials available, namely Vibram Rubber.

The other three Vibram putters all had a much lower profile and very flat tops. Additionally, all three -- the V.P., Summit and Ridge -- are widely considered more driving putters.

The higher-profile Sole is intended as the last shot at the basket, the one that (eventually) goes in.
