May Contest (Results)

This was probably the most ridiculous Marshall Street Monthy Contest ever. Customers were asked to purchase our special Fleece Me 4 2 product, which costs $2 and is essentially nothing.

Then, because that was really stoopid, we made it even stoopider by saying the person who comes closest guessing how many customers will actually purchase this product wins all the money (in Marshall Street dollar form) from our Fleeceme42 proceeds. Then not only was that really stoopid, it seemed a little thin for a monthly contest.

Well, we had five customers purchase the Fleeceme42 special, and Josh Polur guessed six. Congratulations Josh, you win a measly $10 in Marshall Street dollars, which is the total number of real dollars we took in from our most ridiculous Fleeceme42 product. Make sure you spend it all in one place (not that you actually have a choice).

Guessing eight as the number of Fleeceme42 customers from mid-May to June 1, and winning second place and the same measly $10 in Marshall Street funny money, Mike, who didn’t leave a last name but DID leave an e-mail address.

As of yet we have not been able to contact the randomly chosen winner of the Mach Lite. Stay tuned for this exciting news as well as next months contest.

 

The May Contest will be to guess how many customers are ridiculous enough to add the the Fleeceme42 product to their order from now till the end of May 2008.

In addition, one of the fleeceme42 contestants, chosen randomly, will get a free Mach Lite shipped to him/her. Only the best full-sized practice basket out there for the hero to children of all ages everywhere. It folds up into a duffel bag with a shoulder strap. Weighs 25 lbs. How cool is that?

Finally, the closest guesser gets the exact amount from all Fleecme42 customers in Marshall Street Dollars, from now till the end of May.

And SECOND best guess gets the usual measly $10 coupon.
