$425 delivered. 24 chains. Permanent.
One of the best catching baskets on the market today. Ideal for permanent courses or for the serious putting practice enthusiast.
The inner group of chains reduces cut throughs. According to DGA, these are the most popular baskets on PDGA approved courses (and no, I don't know what the PDGA approval process is).
Suffice to say, these are popular, and for good reason. They catch well, the round number plate is a great place to put your 2005 MSDGC magnet and they are built to last a lifetime or two.
You will be happy with this championship caliber disc golf basket. |

$375 delivered. 24 chains. Permanent.
One of the best catching baskets on the market today. Ideal for permanent courses or for the serious putting practice enthusiast.
The bright yellow band makes this basket easy to see through tight woods. It also provides advertising space for hole sponsors, and makes an annoying clang sound when hit. Come and check out our Pyramids Gold course to hear it.
Some golfers say that their putters are actually tractor beamed towards the yellow band, perhaps by some alien technology - obviously, because humans have not yet perfected tractor beams. |

$375 delivered. 24 chains. Permanent.
One of the best catching baskets on the market today. Ideal for permanent courses or for the serious putting practice enthusiast.
This is our all around hightest rated basket. Built for life, this heavy-duty workhorse will give you decades of worry free putting. Actually, nothing can give you worry free putting, but the Chainstar definitely won't hurt your putting any.
It is installed on 3 of our 4 courses. We need say nothing else, so we won't. |

$360 delivered. 24 chains. Permanent.
One of the best catching baskets on the market today. Ideal for permanent courses or for the serious putting practice enthusiast.
This basket is comparable to the Chainstar with its chain configuration and disc catching abilities. It is also similar in construction to the Mach III.
We don't know why it is cheaper than both of them. It catches well, will last forever, and we like Chainstars better for some unknown reason. |

$200 delivered. 18 chains. Kind of portable (40 pounds - 5 pieces).
This is the best value for a practice basket. A great deep basket can catch dozens of putts without risk of bouncing out. Quality galvanized construction should last a long time.
If you are looking for an easy to assemble (no tools required), semi-portable, practice putting basket, this is the basket that we would recommend first. Lightning did their homework, improved on their original design, and has created an ideal practice basket. |

$160 delivered. 16 chains. Portable (25 pounds - 1 piece - no tools required for setup).
The Mach Lite may have set the new standard for collapsible practice baskets.
This basket has a sweet spot comparable to a permanent basket, is easy to setup, and has a new seemingly friendlier chain configuration.
If you are looking for a protable basket that is easy to break down and setup, and that has a sweet sweet spot, this basket is for you. |

$130 delivered. 14 chains. Portable (25 pounds - 5 pieces - no tools required for setup).
This was the first sub $200 (by a lot!) all metal framed basket. Having fewer chains than its permanent brothers, bounce outs and cut throughs occur a bit more often, but not at an unreasonably high rate.
This basket could be used for lower tiered touranments as it will not topple over (unless pushed.-), but is not ideal for permanent placement on a course.
If you are looking for a permanent type basket to practice putting into in your backyard, and don't mind the basket looking at bit unsteady, then this is the right basket at the right price. |

$125 delivered. 16 chains. Portable (20 pounds - 2 pieces - easy setup). This was the first truly portable basket, a great practice putting basket or a good easy setup solution for teaching groups about our sport.
Its sweet spot is about 2/3 the size of a permanent basket - which may be good to improve your concentration and zoning in, or may be bad as it dashes your confidence.
This basket should not be used for tournament play because it may topple when hit with a hard drive.
As long as the extra weight is not an issue (8 pounds heavier than the Traveler), this is our most highly rated portable basket. |

$125 delivered. 6 chains with mesh netting. Portable (12 pounds - 1 piece - very easy setup). This basket is a technologicial marvel, a great practice putting basket or a good easy setup solution for teaching groups about our sport.
The mesh netting around the limited number of chains eliminates cut throughs (and weight). The four legged look is more stable than the Skillshot (although neither will fall over during putting practice).
If you need the easiest basket to setup and take down (it really will take less than 30 seconds - including putting the four stakes into the ground) then this basket is for you.
The only potential drawback that we see is that it feels a bit flimsly (not taut) when setup, but it catches well, is light-weight, affordable, and comes in three catchy colors. |
