Someone else named the disc thinking Orion was an archer.

The name of the constellation is in fact Orion the Hunter. He is depicted as holding a club with a sword at his belt. He has two dogs. No bow, no arrows. In other times and in other parts of the world The constellation we know as Orion is known as the Three Kings, the Three Sisters, or even the Three Marys.

And to think I learned that all in less than a minute on Wikipedia.
