We pleaded with Dave McCormack to stop recycling Gateway disc names.
It's a bad idea on so many levels, we reasoned. It's uncreative, it's redundant in a non-repetitive way, and it confuses people when you have an Apache and then another Apache that's a completely different disc. But Dave McCormack actually said that all the good names for discs were already taken.
Now we've got another Scout that isn't the old Scout, which was the H-plastic version of the Demon. It boggles the mind how smart people have the dumbest ideas. If you look at it that way, Dave McCormack must be a freakin' genius.
So here's another Gateway Scout. Not a Scout 2, or the new and improved Scout, or even the Scout 2.0. Hallelujah.
