Innova considered the original Beast too much like the Orc, so they flattened the bottom of the wing to make it more understable -- the way they made the TL out of the Teebird, the SL out of the Starfire, and the FL out of the Firebird.
They pretty much gave it more of a Leopard bottom, which, in my opinion, sort of wrecked it. Back in those days they just kept calling it the Beast, and the old mold Beast ceased to be produced, and eventually almost ceased to exist.
Except it still exists at Marshall Street, where all sorts of long-discredited concepts still exist, like truth, honesty and the fact -- yes FACT -- that adding big money to pro payouts actually wrecks the sport, by turning our most wonderful athletes into a bunch of whiners who complain when OB calls go against them and split pots and generally behave like a bunch of self-entitled ASSES.
The Pro Tour is a bad joke, and you heard it hear folks, where fair play and friendly competition still exist for their own sake.
As does the old mold Beast.
