Freestyle has become more of a niche event than it used to be, back when I was a big freestyler. Then the freestylers started choreographing their routines with sweepy-little inbetween arm movements, wearing fake nails, and dressing in matching outfits. It all became too technical and, to be frank, a tad too frilly for my macho blood.
