Not too long ago it came to light that one of my long-time frisbee friends is an honest to goodness secret transvestite. He now knows that I know and I know that he knows I know and we both know that we both know and, darnit, neither one of us will ever mention it. So for the rest of our lives whenever we’re together there will be this huge elephant in the room, presumably wearing a lovely chiffon number with a low-cut but tasteful neckline.
This came up in my mind from time to time as I sought a resolution which never really arrived, and it always seemed related to last year’s brouhaha with the guy who played a couple of NEFA events in the woman’s division, where he kicked the girls’ pert little bottoms with 300-foot drives and the justification that he’s a lesbian trapped in a man’s body.
