It was the first bevel edged disc we had ever seen, and it was by far the farthest flying disc on the planet. There was a meeting to decide whether to allow it at the tournament. A compromise was reached to allow it in disc golf but not in distance, which opened the door to the full acceptance of bevel edged discs.
