The Land Mine, by Doomsday Discs, is part of the Munitions Line of experimental, unique discs. The Land Mine is an approach putter that has a unique shape with a boxy, blunt leading edge on a thick rim that is wider than most putters. The shape helps to slow down the disc’s flight and makes it easy to control with both forehand and backhand throws. This is an ideal approach putter that holds its line and finishes by dropping downward without fading too dramatically. This disc allows you to park it near your desired target without veering off course.
The Depth Charge is an altered version of the original Land Mine disc. In order to run such a blunt-edged, big disc in premium plastic, the rim had to be narrowed so that it wouldn’t be too heavy for its size. The Depth Charge flies almost identically to a Land Mine, perhaps with even more torque resistance.
