Wizard

Seeing a disc beautifully flying through the air, sometimes all you can think of is magic… or in this case, “Wizardcraft”! Mike Inscho gives us a glimpse behind the curtain of this hypnotizing spell on the Particle Glow Proton Hex – a fitting example of poetry in motion. The Hex is a stable, exceptionally versatile midrange – able to perform a variety of shot shapes, perfect for any would-be spellcaster disc golfer. Cast your very own Hex and watch as it seeks chains with ease!

Released in 1987, right about the time your parents began flirting with each other, this large diameter “distance driver” flew farther than Nikko can throw a Wizard. Legal to 180 grams, and all but forgotten except by us dinosaurs who long for the days when we used to be somebody.

This putter is a GAME CHANGER and most of our team converted from whatever putter they were using, over to this one! We paid to get the rights to use the most famous putter of all time – the Wizard (by Gateway Discs). Then we used our famous Pondy top and it created a monster! The Wizard has a flight number of 2/3/0/2, and our Pondy being slightly faster and less stable, it makes the Acacia have flight numbers of 3/4/0/0. This allows the disc to be like a more glidey, straighter flying, Wizard! We think that the Alpine Glow may stable that up a tad, but for the most part the flight numbers are pretty accurate (we feel).

The Chainsaw is BZ Sports first golf disc. It is a stable to slightly overstable putter that will hold any line based on your release angle and maintains a well-controlled flightpath. It is an excellent putter for driving while having that perfect stability inside the putting circle as well. It has a wizard top with a modified bottom that feels great in the hand, while not being quite as overstable as the Wizard.
